Multipurpose ATOMIC 22 Offshore edition, with her wide beam of 2.62m offers a very soft and dry ride while providing luxurious deck space for a 22ft mono. Based on a proven hull design methodology and fast back gunwales, she is very dry even in rough sea conditions while being an awesome watersports craft for wakeboarding, tubing, wake-skating, etc. Our design is the pinnacle in performance when considering matched horse power and turning capabilities, be it in a big sea or during water sports activities. The power-to-weight ratio allows for a very economical, efficient, and balanced boating experience. The 21 deg. dead rise ensures a very soft ride, while her draft of only 350mm facilitates access into the shallows.

The one-mould design principle means that the entire deck, rear seat, live well and gunwales from tip of bow to transom is one unit. The deck is bonded to the underdeck/chassis ensuring a seamless integration, while adding additional structural strength, practicality and aesthetic flow. Two roof tops to choose from: hard top and t-top (bimini) to choose from. They incorporate three led spreader/spot lights, two forward facing and one aft, four led down lights, large overhead storage compartment with the option to install vhf/media player and switch panel overhead and no less than eight rod holders/rocket launchers. All stainless is available in a polished or powder coated finish.

On 4th November 2020 Team ATOMIC took Erwin Bursik Founder and Editor of Ski Boat Magazine, Africa’s largest and oldest ski-boat magazine out for an extensive sea trial and review off Durban beach. It was certainly a great honor to have such a legend in the ski-boat fraternity on board for the day. Apart from Erwin’s wealth of knowledge and experience, having sea trialed and reviewed over 400 ski boats over the past 40 years, his methodical and analytical approach with regards to the test itself was very informative to say the least.

In January 2022 we invited Erwin to beach launch off Shelly Beach KZN South Coast South Africa and spend a few hours on the All New ATOMIC 22 Offshore edition (no bow seats or 1-3 removeable bow seats) offering the new deck and gunwale configuration, offshore console, hard-top and skippers/pilot seat, larger live well and fish hatches – to mention but a few of the significant improvements since his review in 2020.
